Biography
Renee Lieux joined Bybel Rutledge LLP as a partner in 2006 where her practice focuses on employment law matters. Ms. Lieux has extensive experience advising employers on employment related issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, including executive and workforce combinations, ERISA matters with respect to merging of benefit plans, and addressing successor stock option plans. The Firm represents a number of publically held companies and Ms. Lieux routinely advises board level compensation committees and human resource executives with regard to establishing deferred compensation arrangements, negotiating severance arrangements, creating equity-based arrangements, negotiating executive compensation arrangements, regulatory compliance, and drafting the compensation discussion and analysis and executive compensation sections of proxy statements. Ms. Lieux understands the importance of not only counseling clients on the legal aspects of issues, but advising them to anticipate and manage risk within their organization.
